Two brothers, one family business

How this started

Warrick Brothers is named after exactly what it is. Devin Warrick and Alex Moon founded it together in 2023, licensed, bonded and insured from the first day, and the two of us still own it and run it between us. It says A FAMILY BUSINESS on the side of the chip truck because there was never a version of this that was not one.

Devin's uncle was a climber, and splitting firewood for him as a teenager was the first tree work he ever did. His own route through the trade after that was the long one. Canvassing, then groundwork on a crew, then assisting a project manager and shadowing estimates, permitting and scheduling, then back on the crew because that was where he was useful. The turn came at a larger company where he worked alongside certified arborists for the first time and properly learned tree biology, which is the difference between knowing how to cut a tree and knowing what the cut will do. He carries the ISA Certified Arborist credential and the Tree Risk Assessment Qualification, and that is the standard this company reads a tree by.

Alex founded the company with Devin, and the climbing, the rigging and the crew on site are his. He runs estimates the same as Devin does, and if you read our Google reviews his name is in a lot of them, usually attached to a tree that had to come down over a garage or a fence. Between the two of us there is close to 20 years of experience in tree work.

We ran it on weekends for the first couple of years while we both worked elsewhere. It stayed consistent enough for long enough that this year we took it full time and bought our first big chip truck, and today it is the two of us and one crew of three. That is the whole story. There is nothing older or larger in it, and we would rather say so than dress it up.
